There is a documented lift option for specified Festool plunge routers: JessEm lists the OF1010 and OF1400 for its Rout-R-Lift Prestige. That does not mean an ordinary motor-clamping lift accepts a Festool plunge body, or that every Festool router shares the same compatibility.
Why the mounting method matters
The Prestige supports a compatible plunge router through its base. A conventional lift often clamps a removable cylindrical motor instead. Those are mechanically different interfaces, so the broad description “router lift” is insufficient when comparing them.
Do not try to make a plunge housing imitate a removable motor by adding an improvised clamp or dismantling parts outside the router's normal instructions. Select a documented mounting system for the exact equipment. The plunge-router guide explains the distinction across brands.
OF1010 and OF1400: confirm the complete designation
Use JessEm's named list as a starting point, then compare it with the full model and revision on your router. If the label includes a suffix or you are looking at a different generation, obtain confirmation of the required hardware and mounting instructions before purchase.
The same caution applies when buying an older Prestige unit. Ask the seller to identify the lift and included mounting parts. A statement that it once held “a Festool” does not establish what is needed for yours.
What about the OF2200?
We have not confirmed OF2200 compatibility from the manufacturer material used here. Its absence from our verified data is not a proof that no solution exists, but it is not permission to substitute it for an OF1400. Request a specific answer from the lift manufacturer rather than extrapolating from the brand.
The important access limitation
JessEm explicitly rules out above-table bit changes on the Prestige. This matters if your proposed table is enclosed or makes under-table wrench access awkward. Height adjustment convenience and collet access are separate benefits; this lift should not be selected on the assumption that it provides both.

Decide whether sharing the router makes sense
If the Festool is also central to your handheld work, consider the transfer and setup time involved in moving it between uses. A dedicated table motor might simplify that workflow, while occasional table work might not justify another router.
The upgrade decision guide helps connect the purchase to a specific inconvenience you want to solve. A supported mount is essential, but the best arrangement also leaves your existing tools useful for the work you bought them to do.
