What happens when you use the site and its tools.
The compatibility finder, plate calculator, product filters and budget calculator run in your browser. We do not ask you to create an account or submit your workshop measurements to use them.
Our hosting provider may process routine request information to serve and secure the site. Product images load from Amazon image servers, which receive the requests needed to display them. Following an external link takes you to a separate service with its own privacy policy.
Amazon may use cookies or other technologies on its service for shopping and affiliate attribution. This site does not collect payment details. Information you email voluntarily is used to respond to your message.
Information you enter and external services
The planning forms ask for equipment choices, dimensions or costs so the browser can calculate a result. They do not need your name, payment-card information or shipping address. Avoid placing personal information in a measurement or product-search field; it is not relevant to those tools.
Displaying an externally hosted product image and opening a shopping link are different interactions with an outside service. The image request occurs when the image loads, while a shopping link takes you to the retailer. Review that service's own privacy information for its handling of requests and shopping activity.
If you choose to email a question, the message may contain information you include voluntarily. Limit a product correction to the relevant page address, equipment model and supporting documentation; an order number or payment detail is not needed to correct an article.
