Choose the component that solves your problem

A router-table upgrade can start with several different needs. If changing depth is awkward, investigate a lift or an under-table base. If the mounting surface is the issue, compare insert plates and their support requirements. If chips accumulate around the mechanism, look at the dust collection arrangement before replacing a working lift.

Manual and motorized collections describe how a lift is adjusted. Compact listings describe a smaller motor class. Neither label establishes table fit. The rings, dust collection and accessory collections contain supporting parts rather than complete lift systems, so check the host equipment each part is designed for.

Build a short parts list around equipment you already own. Record the router motor, tabletop opening and any existing rings or mounting components you hope to reuse. Open the relevant product pages to identify model-specific differences, then use the planning tools to check dimensions and total the costs. This order helps reveal missing components before purchase. A bundle can simplify shopping, but compare its stated contents with your list: a stand may need a separate top, and a plate may need a router base to provide height adjustment.
