The standard Mast-R-Lift II’s wider footprint is not a drop-in promise for the narrower opening. This does not mean a brand can never work with another brand’s table; it means the actual geometry decides. See router-lift plate sizes before considering any tabletop modification.
Rockler’s distinctive operating features
The Pro Lift has Quick-Gear and fine adjustment, plus a Snap-Lock insert-ring release. Those features target large height movements and ring changes. They may matter if you repeatedly raise the collet for changing cutters, but they are not evidence that the resulting cut is inherently better.
JessEm’s Mast-R-Lift II instead needs to be evaluated through its own crank, lock and ring procedure. Read through a complete change-and-reset sequence. Decide which controls you prefer and whether you can reach them with your planned fence arrangement.

Rockler’s page contains inconsistent diameter wording in different sections, so use the named model and obtain confirmation of the required adapter rather than interpreting the broad numeric range as universal approval.
