Its phenolic plate and lifting mechanism are separate parts of the assembly: the plate supports the installation in the table, while the carriage locates and moves the motor. Comparing plate material alone misses the more important question of whether your motor is a documented match.
Do not transfer accessory assumptions from the older Rout-R-Lift II simply because the names are similar. Check the current 3.5XT documentation for the motor, mounting instructions and ring system before reusing parts.
