Build two realistic shopping lists
Start with the equipment you intend to keep. Enter zero for an existing motor or tabletop only after checking that it is compatible with the proposed lift. A reused part is not a saving if the installation later requires replacing it.
Use the actual selected bundle contents when assigning costs. If rings or an adapter are included in the lift price, do not add them a second time. A stand-only package may still need a top, while a router kit may include a base you will not use in a dedicated lift. Record those differences before comparing totals.
Shipping and tax are entered as amounts, not percentages, and should come from the checkout estimate for your order. The calculator does not retrieve live prices or predict charges. To compare a second setup, keep a note of the first total and its included parts before replacing the entries. Separate optional conveniences from required mounting components in your notes so a lower total does not simply reflect missing parts.
